New Hope Center for Grief Support is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and new beginnings to adults and children grieving the death of a loved one. Located in Northville, Michigan, they offer age and loss specific workshops, seminars, peer support groups and social events for those who’ve experienced all types of losses: spouses, children, parents, siblings, and other loved ones. Their Circles of Hope family program offers family workshops, seminars and an annual summer camp to invest in children, support parents, and strengthen families. They also provide community outreach, trainings, and practical resources to help our community better understand grief and equip them to serve those who’ve experienced a loss.
Livonia Acupuncture is a proud Silver Level sponsor of New Hope Center for Grief Support since 2018.
Médecins Sans Frontières or Doctors Without Borders was founded in 1971, by a small group of French doctors and journalists who sought to expand accessibility to medical care across national boundaries and disregarding of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. To that end, the organisation emphasises "independence and impartiality", and explicitly precludes political, economic, or religious factors in its decision making. For these reasons, it limits the amount of funding received from governments or intergovernmental organisation. These principles have allowed Doctors Without Borders to speak freely with respect to acts of war, corruption, or other hindrances to medical care or human well-being.
Livonia Acupuncture proudly sponsors monthly donations to help supplies to make 8 emergency burn dressings in a conflict or disaster zones.
